about me... a full-time/self-employed web designer, I have been making web sites since I graduated from college in 1997. I am self-taught and most of the things I practice now in my own design studio I learned from my first job at a web agency in Chelsea. That was before 9/11 and I had a wonderful time working with some of the best designers there dreaming about our IPOs that never happened; of course after 9/11 everything changed. In 2002 I started my own design practice out of my Manhattan apartment where I lived with my dog Dusty. Most of the web designers I met are no longer making web sites or moved out of NYC; however I find a great passion in me for design and art and that's why I am still making web sites today. When I am not at the computers, I spend time drawing and painting. [art portfolio >>]

on web design... The web has changed so much since the days I learned to code HTML by hand. A good web site should work for the audience it's intended for. A good web site should be easy to use and to the point. I believe in modern design and less is better than more. [web portfolio >>]
misc...... I love films, music, theatre, and books...
Most of all I love dogs.
