Being a puppy Dusty sleeps a lot. You can say he spends more time sleeping than anything else. He is most energetic after his meal time. Running around the house and playing with his toys is what he does every morning after he eats. But pretty soon you will hear "snoring" - that's our Dusty! Before he goes out for his mid-day walk he would get a good nap. After his walk, he will be happily playing again and go into his afternoon nap soon afterwards. Dogs really don't ask a lot and can be easily contented with the life of his humans if you understand what they need. Besides food and shelter, they need to have plenty of exercise and rest to be physically and mentally healthy. They also need your companionship and attention because they are social animals just like us.
Before you know it, he will jump out of his bed - the door bell rings! He would rush to the door within seconds and it's playing time again!
