out
When we first met dusty, he was very frightened to go out. It was the coldest week of winter with single digit temperature. It was the busy traffic and city streets full of busy people. Everything scared him. Every day we had to drag him downstairs from our 4th floor apt. But now - Dusty is happiest when he is out... He would rush to the door before anyone does and insists that you are not leaving without him! He enjoys his daily walks and loves people and dogs he gets to meet during his walks. Dusty likes everybody... little kids, beautiful ladies, seniors and especially this old man in the wheel chair. Every day during our walk we pass by a senior health care center and Dusty would run to say hi to his friend - a one-legged old man in the wheel chair. Sitting out front, the old man would wave at us every morning when he sees Dusty running to him. It also makes my day when I see the smile on his face and how Dusty's love can cheer up everybody he touches.
